Private schools by definition have the right to make the rules. Public schools, however, exist for all children, regardless of race, religion, economic background, the list goes on. Reciting the Lord’s Prayer in a public school would send a clear message that certain children – such as my own – do not belong as much as others.

I have a new obsession. A very, very unhealthy obsession. Pinterest.com is a free website which you can create virtual “Pinboards” of website, pictures, and other wonderful ideas. It has everything from food to books to humor and education!
It is quite a popular website now, and I’m sure most of you have heard of it. If not, I included a screenshot of a few pins of I was browsing from the education tag to show you what it looks like (I absolutely love the organization). It is a very worthwhile (but addicting) investment. You NEED a Pinterest.
